National Black Empowerment Council

The National Black Empowerment Council is a leadership network of principled, socially conscious, and civically engaged men and women in important positions within the public and private sector. With an approach informed by their experience, NBEC leaders work together to marshal their influence, empower Black communities and advance the cause of economic and social justice in America.

The National Black Empowerment Council aims to be additive to the important work of emerging social justice groups and the legacy civil rights organizations. Activism at these levels will always be paramount in the drive for justice and equality. To augment those efforts, NBEC is creating an association of men and women with influence and positions in critical industries who bring their collective power to the campaign for social justice as well.
